Can I use your research data?
Our research data is available for academic and non-commercial purposes. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs and requirements.
Do I need permission to use your datasets?
No. Each release states its own licence on its landing page — the FrIdéo ideology scores, for example, are CC BY 4.0 — and open licences are the point of publishing them. Cite the paper the dataset belongs to and you are done.
I am a journalist. Can you explain your figures for a story?
Yes, and we would rather do that than see a number used in a way it cannot support. Tell us which figure you are working with and what you want to say about it, and we will tell you plainly what it does and does not establish.
I think a score or a label for my outlet is wrong.
Tell us which one and what evidence you think it missed. Our scales are built to be contested — the FrIdéo paper includes a section on exactly this — and a specific, documented objection can change a score.
